A Nationally recognised vocational qualification that is the equivalent of two GCSE’s.

There are no examinations on the course- assessment activities include a portfolio of assignments, booklets and diaries; presentations and practical observations.

Future career opportunities include sports coaches and fitness instructors; physiotherapy; army PTI and other related careers in the leisure and sport industry.

During the two year course, pupils will develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes that will benefit working and social life and personal development.

The certificate is made up of three units; each is assessed through practical and written work.
